MCCP Newsletter July 2012

This half Term we have been focusing on Healthy Eating, we have done lots of cooking and had some tasting sessions, we have enjoyed seeing our herbs and vegetables growing in the garden and then using them as part of our Activities, all our activities are planned for the 7 areas of learning, to encourage children to explore and investigate different aspects of Healthy Eating and growing.  When the weather allows we have spent a lot of time outdoors; going for Walks, visiting the Community Garden, going to story sessions in the Library.  We are now using our new 'High Visability' jackets to ensure the children are kept safe at all times.

Annual General Meeting

The AGM of MCCP Ltd was held on Tuesday June 26th, at that meeting Mrs Sylvia Whittaker announced her resignation as Chairman of Trustees, but she will be staying on the Fundraising Committee.  Sylvia was thanked for all her hard work and committment over the past 8 years.

The new elected members of the Board of Trustees are:

Ian Pilcher - Treasurer

Cynthia James - Minutes Secretary

Micheal Williams,  Angela  Jones,  Eleanor Larmour

We are always looking for new trustees who have knowledge and experience that could be used for the benefir of MCCP Ltd, so if you have skills that we could use or just wish to help, then we would love to hear from you.
