About Machynlleth Community Children's Project
The Machynlleth Community Children's Project began in September 1991 as a local community initiative. It is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. It is run by a committee of management trustees who are also directors of the company.
The project also employs part time administrator, Elizabeth Lumley.
You can support the Machynlleth Community Children's Project by volunteering, by attending meetings, by fund-raising, by making or donating toys or equipment, bringing recipies, songs or stories, giving us ideas for activities or visits or by giving your views on how the project is being run - all of these are part of using a community project.
You can also help by applying to become a member or a Trustee. You don't need any special qualifications. Everyone has experiences that will be useful in a management committee. We will be happy to look at training needs and arrange training. Please take part in whatever way you can and help the project continue to develop and meet the needs of local children and their families.
